Members of the Fox Chapter give back to their local communities through the “Share the Love” program by stitching a 4-inch needlepointed heart which is donated to a hospice organization, especially for local youth bereavement programs. These hearts make wonderful stash-buster projects, often giving members a chance to try a new stitch. A number of our members do the actual finishing on the hearts. We are delighted to see the hearts come to life with cording, bows, special buttons, and even heart-shaped charms that say “made with love.”
