Unless otherwise stated, meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held in the activity center of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 24500 North Old McHenry Road, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047. (Sometimes you’ll see this address listed as being in Lake Zurich. This is not a problem, as the church property straddles the line.) General policies
- Annual Incentive Program: Collect twelve points, through either programs or stitching samples from our annual binder, in order to receive the charm. All points must be in by the March meeting.
- Guests are welcome but must pay the kit fee, if any. Guests are welcome to attend two (2) general meetings, after which they are expected to become members.
- No food or beverage should be on the worktables at meetings or workshops.
- Stitched name tags must be worn at all meetings or pay a fine of 25 cents.
- Children not of stitching age are not allowed at meetings.
Workshop policies
- Kit and teacher fees are payable in advance.
- The Chapter reserves the option to open the workshop to other chapters if minimum enrollment is not met.
- Classes will begin and end on time.
- No refunds, but you may sell your space. Check with the Program Chair to see if there is a waiting list. If your name is on a class list after the deadline date, you must pay all class fees.
Correspondence-course policies
- Courses will be self-supporting. Therefore Chapters funds will not be used.
- Purchase of pins will be the responsibility of the participant.
